Seiko QXA129BLH Review by kevver (Chicago, IL)
I've had this clock for about 5 and a half months. During this time is has performed very well, and has gained only about 2.5 minutes. That's better than most watches I've owned. It's very easy to make an adjustment.
It's very quiet and looks great.
Seiko QXA129BLH Review by Blair Reynolds (New York, NY)
We bought this as a gift for aging parents who are fairly traditional in their tastes and, after looking at hundreds of wall clocks, ended up trusting that a Seiko would have a higher quality look and feel. It does. The face plate has expensive-looking gold trim that picks up the light as you move through the room, the wood bezel is nicely finished, even the plastic back is a nice plastic. The sweep second hand is, as other reviews have cited, completely silent. The numbers are crisp, large and easy to read from across a large room, another nice feature for older folks. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it is a little pricey. But, compared to some other clocks for 20 bucks less I would expect that it will last a lot longer. A simple, traditional, elegant item that works.

I was looking a good clock to buy after my IKEA cheap clock fail.
I purchase this, because it is Seiko, also design is phenomenal. The color of the wood case it can match any ambient. In one word, this is great clock to purchase.

With its classic style, the Seiko Wall Clock is the perfect addition to your home or office. Built with a dark-brown solid oak frame with a wood-grain pattern, this round wall clock has a traditional homey feel. Framed by a durable glass crystal, the white clock face is easy to read, with black hands, Arabic numerals hour markers, and minute markers on the outer dial -- as well as a quietly sweeping gold-tone second hand. It comes with one AA battery.
